Elsie Sellars Obituary

On July 12, 2019, God in his infinite wisdom took from us one his most precious flowers in Mrs. Elsie Mae Pulliam Sellars; affectionately known as "Bay". She was 68. She was born on January 12th 1951 in Caswell County to the late Johnny Pulliam and Ira Walker Pulliam. She was married to the late Junior O. Sellars.

Bay was a graduate of Northeastern Guilford High School. She enjoyed fellowshipping. Whether it was in person or on the phone, she loved to talk to people. She also enjoyed joking around, as she had a great sense of humor. She loved her family and her grandchildren and was very proud of them. She loved the Lord and was a faithful member of Graves Chapel Baptist Church where she served in the Senior Choir. She was a great encourager and always knew where her strength came from: The Lord. She was a great bundle of joy whose smile and personality was infectious to every person she touched. She will be dearly missed but everything she imparted into us will remain in our hearts.

Left to cherish her memories are her two loving daughters: Cassandra Sellars-Graves (Craig Sr.) of Blanch, Casie Sellars Medley of the home; two grandsons: Camden Dukes and Craig Graves Jr.; five brothers: Louis Walker of Gibsonville, Robert Pulliam of Greensboro, Houston Pulliam of Thomasville, Joseph Pulliam (Mary) of Reidsville and Danny Pulliam of Greensboro; two sisters: Moneva Gwynn and Bernette Moore both of Gibsonville; two sisters in law: Maggie Sellars and Mary S. Briggs both of Yanceyville; two brothers in law: Rev. George L. Sellars of Winston Salem and Scott David Sellars (Pauline) of Burlington; special friends: Patricia Spinks and Geneva Bigelow, and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her siblings: Earl Pulliam, John Pulliam, Melvin Pulliam, Kelvin Pulliam and Eddie Pulliam.
