Rosa Lee (Massenburg) Jackson

Rosa Lee Jackson, 70, passed away on June 25, 2019 at Carillion Roanoke Memorial Hospital. She was born in Wake County to the late Samuel Massenburg and Letha Mangum Massenburg.

She enjoyed reading and fishing. She also enjoyed people and loved to joke. She loved her family and would always tell her sister Pauline: “You got to do what you got to do Paul.”

She leaves to cherish her memory: One son: Jeremy Andrew Jackson, two daughters: Dorthea Jackson and Veronica Maria Samuels; four brothers: Jerry Massenburg, Samuel Massenburg (Roslyn) Jimmy Massenburg and Roger Massenburg; five sisters: Josephine Johnson, Mary Oakley, Shirley Jones, Pauline Avent (John Henry), Letha McCoy (Elvis) and Yvonne Richardson; and a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
