Alfonso Daniel Walker

Alphonsa Daniel Walker, 65, of Danville, VA passed away on Wednesday, February 18, 2026, at Stratford Rehabilitation and Health Center in Danville, VA.

Born January 16, 1961, in Danville, VA he was the son of the late Annie Elizabeth Walker and the late David Robinson.  He was married 44 years to his devoted wife Karen Noble Walker.

Alphonsa was a faithful member of Bennett Memorial Baptist Church in Danville, Virginia. He was a member of the Male Chorus, served on the Deacon Board and was a member of the Danville Deacon Union Association.  He consistently gave of his time and skills to support the church in various functions.  Alphonsa was a graduate of George Washington High School. He worked for Danville Parks and Recreation until his health failed. 

 Alphonsa leaves to cherish his memory his brother Ivan Walker, Special Sister in law Beverly Lipscomb, two brothers in laws Ralph Noble (Linda), Kenneth Noble (Jean) and a host of nieces, nephews, and grandchildren. In addition to his mother and father, he was predeceased by his bonus son Adrian Noble, sister Kedra Jones (Dewey), and brother David Walker.
