Annie Virginia (Holloway) Henderson

Annie Virginia Holloway Henderson, transitioned on October 31, 2020 at the age of 103. She was the daughter of the late of Julius Holloway and Carrie Bowe Holloway. She was the wife of the late Hubert Henderson.

Annie was a faithful member of Sassafras Grove Baptist Church. She was a dedicated mother and grandmother. She worked as a farmer and in the warehousing industry but dedicated most of her life to being a great home maker. She loved to clean and sweep. She also loved to cook and sew. Annie loved her grandchildren and family and will be dearly missed.

She leaves to cherish her memories, her children: Brenda Henderson and Beverly Gunn of the home, Leon Henderson of Danville, Ellis Henderson (Margie) of Yanceyville, Mary Alice Graves of Philadelphia and Kay Frances Murphy of Reidsville, one brother: Otis Holloway of Pelham, and a host of grand children, great grand children and great great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her children: Walter Henderson, Stephen Henderson, James Henderson, Herbert Henderson, Carolyn Pulliam and John Henderson, and siblings: James Holloway, Elizabeth Tanner and Pearl Hatchett.
