Christine (Blandon) Brooks

Mrs. Christine Brooks, 61, of 344 Chatelaine Avenue, Danville VA, passed away at Duke University on December 17,2021

 A native of Pittsylvania County, she was the daughter of Nathaniel Blandon and Maggie Watson Blandon.

She is survived by her husband John Wayne Brooks,  son Eric Blandon of Greensboro, NC, a daughter, Ebony Brooks of the home; seven grandchildren, Tito  Cobbs, De Andre Blandon, Jamya Blandon, Nyjah Brisco, Eric and Erica Blandon all of Danville VA, and Ariane Blandon of Greensboro NC; Great Grandchildren Desamond West and Rashaad Garka of Danville Va.

 Also she leaves to mourn two nephews Andre Blandon of Washington DC, and Derek Blandon of Greensboro, NC. One sister-in-law Minette Blandon of Washington, DC.

She was preceded in death by her loving brother, Nathaniel Blandon.
