Ellis Henderson

Departed this life at the age of 75 years old. He was born in Caswell County NC to the late Annie Holloway Henderson and Hubert Henderson. He was employed until his retirement at Cone Mills. He served in the United States Army. He had an associated degree in Auto Mechanic from Rockingham Community College and   finished his GED from Piedmont Community College. In his free time, he loved to fish and work on anything that needed fixing.

He married the former Mardgie Simspon on June 3, 1972. Their union was blessed with 2 children Michael and Nina, 

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 5 brothers: Douglas, Herbert, John, Walter and James and 1 sister Carolyn V Pulliam. To cherish his memory, he leaves his faithful wife of forty-nine years, Mardgie S Henderson: his children Michael Henderson (Tonesha) of Augusta, GA and Nina Henderson Rucker (Jonathan) of Winston Salem, NC; One brother Leon Henderson (Regina) of Danville, VA.; four sisters, Katie Murphy of Reidsville, NC, Mary Graves of Philadelphia, PA, Brenda Henderson and Beverly Gunn both of Pelham, NC; four grandchildren: Isaiah, Antonio, Jordan and Justin; his brother-in-law, Wilie O. Simpson of Ruffin, NC; one uncle Otis Holloway of Pelham; his sisters-in-law, Peggy Pyles of Milton, NC, Debra Anglero (Eddie) of Ruffin, NC. Janice Harris(William) of Yanceyville, NC; Annie L. Sloan(Carl) of Reidsville, NC; A host of nieces, nephews and dear friends.
