Emma Jean (Thompson) Garland

Emma Jean Thompson Garland, 84, formerly of Graham passed away on July 1, 2020. She was the daughter of the late Walter Thompson and Magadie Thaxton Thompson. She was married to the late Earnest Garland.

 
She was a graduate of Caswell County Training School. She enjoyed art and going to the Senior Day Care. She also enjoyed socializing with her family friends. She loved watching HGTV and the Food Network. 
 
She leaves to cherish her memories: her children: Michael Garland (Devera) of Greensboro, Angela Garner (Andre) of Troutman; grandchildren: Ashley, Alex, Charity and Chelsea, one sister: Audrey Gant of Burlington and a host of relatives, family and friends.
 
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by two sisters: Shirley Cobb and Grace Graves.
