Evelyn Joyce Harris, 52, of Danville, VA gained her wings on April 20, 2022. She was born on May 3, 1969 to the late Ray & Deloris Wilson.
She graduated from Tunstall High School. She accepted Christ at an early age. She was a homemaker, mother, sister and friend to many.
She is survived by her husband Samuel Harris whom she was married to for 27 years; her beloved son Samuel Deshawn Harris ("My Boy" is what she often referred to him as.), one granddaughter Aubree Harris, Mother in law Rosetta Harris, her sisters Gwen Wilson, Clarissa Halloway (William), and Carolyn Witcher all of Danville, VA and Leone Wilson of Callands, VA; two brothers Curtis Wilson (Sasha) of South Bend, Indiana and Donald Wilson of Martinsville, VA, uncle James Wilson of New York and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her daughter Jalisa Harris and sister Barbara Wilson.
