George Walter Murray

George Walter Murray, 81, transitioned on April 28, 2020 at the Brian Center of Yanceyville. He was born on April 5, 1939 to the late George Edward Murray and Eugenia Murray. 

He was a member of Warren's Chapel Baptist Church. He graduated from Caswell County Training School class of 1959. He had his own upholstery business. He enjoyed fishing with his grandson and puzzles with his granddaughter. He was a devoted husband and loving father. His business clients were always pleased with his service. Creative upholstery was his pride and joy. 

He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife, Elaine Richmond Murray of the home, two sons: George Anthony Murray of the home and Gregory Antonio Murray of Palm Springs California; two brothers: Andrew Murray of Caswell and Willie Murray of Durham, one sister: Alberta Murray, two grandchildren: Anthony Murray and Telisa Murray. 

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother: John Edward Murray and four sisters: Lizette Murray McCanddies, Juanita Murray, Odessa Satterfield and Arlene Murray.
