Gerald Jerome Graves

Mr. Gerald Jerome Graves "Buck" of Burlington, NC departed this life on Saturday, January 25th, 2025 at Cone Health Hospital in Alamance County. 

Gerald was born on July 15th, 1963 to Mary Elizabeth "Violet" Graves in Danville, Virginia. 

He attended Caswell County Schools and Job Corps of Kittrell, NC and was a former employee of Alamance Foods in Burlington, NC for thirty two years. He eventually retired due to declining health. 

At an early age, Gerald accepted Jesus Christ and was baptized. He was a very quiet person who loved walking outdoors and visiting his family and friends often. He definitely enjoyed sports and he was a fan of the Dallas Cowboys and the Carolina Panthers. 

Survivors include his brother Timothy L. Graves of Burlington, NC, his aunt Willie Ann Roberts (George-deceased) of Blanch, NC and a host of other relatives and friends. 

He was preceded in death by his mother Mary Elizabeth "Violet" Graves, his grandmother Beatrice Graves Roberts and uncle the late Deacon George Roberts Jr. 

The family will receive guest at the home of his aunt at 1648 County Home Rd.-Blanch, NC.
