Harold Lloyd James Jr.

Harold Lloyd James Jr., 76, transitioned on February 8, 2024 at AuthorCare Hospice in Burlington, NC. Harold was born in Danville, VA to the late Harold James Sr. and Dorothy Mae Moore James. 

Harold worked at Burlington Industries for numerous years until retirement. He was a sports fan, supporting the Miami Dolphins and the Boston Celtics. He also had a natural gift for fixing cars and enjoyed NASCAR and drag racing. He was also very passionate about music, enjoying soul and old school music. 

He leaves to cherish his memories, his beloved wife: Paulette Bushnell James of the home; two children: Maurice James Sr. (Brenda) of Clarksville, Tennessee and Charity James of the home; two brothers: Michael James of Reidsville and Ronald James of Weaton, Maryland; one sister Audrey Shirley of Decatur, Georgia; four grandchildren: Maurice James Jr., Jaylin Saunders, Jarion James and Breona Luck, as well a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
