Josephine Lea

Josephine Lea, 78, was born on March 22, 1948 to the late Benjamin Moses Lea and Mabel Newman in Caswell County. She transitioned from labor to reward on March 1, 2022.

She worked as a nurse for numerous years and she enjoyed her job and gave it her very best. She also enjoyed doing stuff around the house and fixing things. She was a hard worker and was very smart.

She leaves to cherish her memories, one son Larry Donnell Lea of the home, one niece she raised like a daughter Doris Thorpe of Mebane and one sister Maxine Stubblefield of Burlington and a host of relatives, family and friends.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters: Yvonne Lea and Leonie Richmond.
