Langston Oliver left this world on September 25, 2023. He was an original member of the Mustangs Gospel Group. He also played with the Silver Stars.

He leaves behind three daughters: Teresa Oliver of Burlington, NC, Lutricia Pyles (David Sr.) of Blanch, NC, Lelia Fitzgerald (Eric) of Danville, VA, one son Derrick Oliver of Colorado and one brother Woodrow Oliver (Mary) of Danville, VA; also a dedicated nephew Timothy Oliver of Danville, VA, Woodrow Carvartos Oliver (Dezerae) of High Point, NC, fourteen grandchildren, seven great grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.
