Mary Anne Wilson

Mary Anne Wilson, known as “Mother Mary” by family friends was born on June 6, 1956 in Rockingham County NC to the late Rufus and Mable Wilson. She departed this earthly life on May 14, 2021.

She was a lifelong member of Disciples of Christ Holiness Church where she was dedicated and served faithfully on the Usher and Nurses Board, Kitchen Committee, Pastor’s Aide and was a spiritual leader of the Senior Choir.

She was employed at Fieldcrest Mills for several years and obtained her CNA license and worked at the Brian Center of Eden, NC. 

She leaves to cherish her memories, her special lifelong friend: Charlie Massie of Danville, VA, four sisters: Catherine Day of Stoneville, VA, Doretha Frierson of Washington D.C., Alice Clark of Ruffin, NC, Joy Walker of Pelham, NC and one brother William Wilson of Pelham, NC; forty nieces and nephews and a host of great nieces and nephews as well as her god children: Bryan Hairston, Kadar Walker and Michael Wilson Jr.
