Mary Elizabeth Cobb Wright, 71, of 4066 Hodges Dairy Rd, Yanceyville, NC passed away on Friday, February 13, 2026, in Danville, VA.

Born October 10, 1954, in Caswell County, NC, she was the daughter of the late Annie Virginia Cobb.  She was married to the late Roy Houston Wright.

Survivors include her son, Roy Lakieth Wright of the residence, two grandchildren, Kamari Wright, and Syasia Wright both of Yanceyville, NC. Three sisters, Cecile Wright and Lottie Mims both of Yanceyville, NC and Betty (Ricky) Jones of Burlington, NC. One brother, Lonnie (Dorothy) Blackwell of Yanceyville and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.  In addition to her mother, she was predeceased by four sisters, Margaret Smith, Hazel Mae Cobb, Mary Alice Cobb and Betsy Cobb, two brothers Kevin Cobb and Kim Cobb.

 The family will receive friends at the residence of her sister, Mrs. Lottie Mims 4048    Hodges Dairy Rd, Yanceyville NC.
