Melissa Gail McCann was born on August 4, 1969 in Danville Virginia to the late Raleigh Reynolds Jr. and Betty Cross Reynolds. She was married to the late Roger McCann.

Melissa was a nature enthusiast. She loved all kinds of animals. She was a tough lady who was always right there for you if you needed her.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her sister Tammy Reynolds of Providence, a brother Michael Reynolds of Danville, nephew Steven Irby of Danville and a special friend Curtis Schnablegger of Blanch.
