Mr. Nathaniel Barnhardt was born in Stokesdale, NC on September 22, 1930 to the late BJ and Juanita Barnhardt. He departed this earthly life on December 19, 2019.
He was educated in Summerfield at Mclaughlin School.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by wife Ann C. Barnhardt, three sons: Larry and Nathan Tatum and Gregory Barnhardt, two stepsons: Randy and Steven Cheek, three sisters: Betty Thomas, Mary Ruth, Rachel and one brother: Bruce Barnhardt.
He leaves to cherish his memories children: Brenda T. Smith, Ronald and Reginald Barnhardt, Demetria Ford, Keisha Mebane, step daughters: Terri Cheek, Tina Pegues (Frederick) and Deborah Williamson, stepsons: John, Raymond, Michael Cheek, five brothers: Wallce, Larrie, Paul, Ernest and Richard "Red" Barnhardt (Juanita), 27 grandkids, 34 great gradnkids, one great great grandchild and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
