Odella "Sis" (Brandon) McCain

Mrs. Odella Brandon McCain daughter of the late George Brandon and Lizzie Elmore Brandon was born on January 19, 1935. She departed her life August 10, 2022 at her home in Semora, NC. She received her education in the Caswell County School System.

Odella was joined in Holy Matrimony to James Henry McCain in 1959 until his death. To this union four children were born. She dedicated her life and was baptized as one Jehovah’s Witnesses in 2003.

In addition to her parents, Odella was preceded in death by her husband James, four sisters: Emma Fountain, Maxine Johnson, Nannie Mae Hughes and Florence Royster; three brothers: Jessie Brandon, Clarence Brandon, and Willie Baily.

She leaves to cherish her memories: Glenda and Kathy McCain of the home, James McCain (Stephanie) of Virginia Beach, VA and Jill Sawyer of Milton, NC; four grandchildren: Bryce McCain, CJ McCain, Bryan McCain and Shylteem Sawyer; six great grandchildren: Kiryce, Kamryn, Charlae, Kayden, Brylan and Charvis; two brothers in law: Bobby McCain and Doug Hughes; seven sisters in law: Leona Brandon, Linda Stewart, Shirley Drummond, Mable Crawley, Janice Garland, Annie McCain and Lucy Farmer as well as a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
