Phillip "Phil" Wayne Stewart

Mr. Phillip (Phil) Wayne Stewart, age 65, transitioned from this earthly life to Glory on Sunday, April 7, 2024.

Phillip was the son of the late Coye Bigelow Stewart and Willie C. Stewart. He was born on September 28, 1958 in Caswell County, North Carolina.

Phillip was a graduate of Bartlett Yancey Senior High School, class of 1976. Phillip was a true outdoorsman. He loved mowing the grass, working in the yard, going to Flea Markets with his girlfriend, Ashley, cleaning his automobiles, and last but not least, watching “WESTERNS.”

Phillip was employed by FCS Inc./Building Service Contractors for two years. He became a member of High Rock Missionary Baptist Church on January 21, 2024 and was a faithful, dedicated member until his transition.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Coye B. Stewart; father, W.C. Stewart; and daughter, Renada Stewart.

Mr. Phillip Wayne Stewart leaves to cherish his precious memories, his siblings: Minister Patricia Stewart of Burlington, N.C., Jean Stewart Elkins (Rick) of Danville, VA., Carl Stewart (Brenda) of Danville, VA., Randy Stewart (Sarah) of Chatham, VA., Alicia Stewart of Danville, VA., Gerald Stewart and Debra Stewart of Milton, N.C.

He also leaves to cherish his memory; a devoted partner, Ms. Ashley Alston; 10 nieces; 6 nephews and a host of great nieces and nephews; family and cherished friend
