Rachel Arnold Obituary

Rachel Ann Arnold, age 87, passed away peacefully on October 7th, 2021. She was born on May 18th, 1934, in Morristown, New Jersey. She was the daughter of Nannie Ford Davis Stoutenburgh and Robert Stoutenburgh.

 

Rachel Ann relocated to Greenville, North Carolina to be close to her daughter Judi, since her health was declining. She was married to Luther Arnold a World War II Veteran who is also deceased. She is survived by her two daughters Judith Arnold Walker and Leslie Renee Arnold. Her son Marvin Bruce Arnold is deceased. Her sister Wanda Sharon Yancey is the only surviving sibling. Brothers Joseph Davis, Charles Davis and Roy Davis are deceased.

 

Rachel Ann has three grandchildren, James V. Walker II (Jimmy), Samir Arnold and Khadijah Arnold.

 

She has one nephew Patrick Davis.

 

Rachel was a retiree of Sandoz/Novartis Pharmaceuticals, a Pharmaceutical Inspector.

 

She attended Rutgers University's Business Programs for Real Estate Investors. Also a member of Calvary Baptist Church, Morristown, New Jersey and a member of the Harriet Tubman Chapter of The Eastern Stars.

 

She was known for her kindness, generosity and funny jokes. Her grandchildren have many fond memories of their vacations to Disney World and Universal Studios Orlando Resort.

 

She leaves a host of family, friends and caregivers to celebrate this occasion.
