Sonia Monia Rasberry

Sonia Monia Raspberry was born on October 6, 1968 in  Danville, VA. She departed this life and entered the restful arms of Jesus on Saturday, January 9, 2021. She was the loving daughter of Peggy Ann Smith and Clarence Rasberry.

Sonia loved life and loved helping people anyway she could. Sonia was a master chef who cooked with love. She was a devoted mother and grandmother. Sonia always had a smile on her face. She never ended a phone call without saying “ I love you baby”.

Sonia was a member of Mill Creek Church where she would help out where needed.

She leaves to cherish her memory, a devoted husband: Reggie Totten; children: Ryheem Smith, Octavia Smith, Shanice Smith, Kemisha Smith and LaQuan Smith; grandkids: Nieon Smith, Zavieon Smith, Kaseem Ford Jr., Kassidy Williamson, Mahkel Smith, Daniel Smith, and Riley Robertson; brothers: Tony Smith (Berniece), Allen Ray Smith (Princess), Norman Smith, Stephon Rasberry (Kim); sisters: Robin Smith and Karen Smith and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
