Willie Aldean Woods Jr., affectionately known as "Billy Boy" transitioned on October 9, 2021 in Danville, Virginia. He was born on January 13, 1967 to the late Willie Aldean Woods Sr. and Mary Elizabeth Martin who survives.
During his life he attended High School in Washington D.C. He later received his a GED in Lawrenceville, Virginia. Everyone knew him as "Billy Boy" or "Chesmoke." He was the first grandchild of the family. He was always the life of the party. He was very well known for dancing, laughing, joking, listening to music and eating above all. He loved being around his family. His smile would light up the room.
He leaves to cherish his memory his mother Mary Elizabeth Martin of Danville; two sons: Tavio "BJ" Glen and Andre "AJ" Smith both of Danville; two daughters: Kechiwah "Puk" Stamps of Norfolk and Kechijah "Munch" Stamps of Lynchburg; three sisters: Edith Woods of New York, Marron Woods of Danville and Charlisa Martin of Washington D.C.; three brothers: Walter "Joe" Woods of Lynchburg, Carrie "Wayne" Martin (Vashti) and Daniel Martin both of Washington D.C.; fourteen grandchildren; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and a special close bond to a cousin he considered a brother: Richard Law.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a brother Larry Woods.
